OL2002-2003 in a Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 environment. Public
Folders used for incoming e-mails from outside the company.

In OL2002, displaying and customizing the OL bar, when a new messages
arrives in a Public Folder, I see the usual bold (1) near that folder's
icon.
In OL2003 the OL bar is no more, replaced by the "links" view, which I
think it's better, but nothing appears if a new message arrives in a
public folder, even if, of course, there is a link to that folder in my
"links" view.

Is there any solution?
thanks

I found a workaround. If, first, I put this PF among my Favorites PFs,
there I see unread messages. Then, putting this link into the "links"
view, it's ok.
Any other "real" solution?
thanks

That is the real solution.
