OL2002 is driving me crazy the past few weeks. First a "security update"
from MS totally hosed my Outlook 2002 setup and after an all-nighter with
tech support and some intricate brain [registry] surgery I was able to again
use Outlook.
Now it seems that every few days something else pops up. Almost as if by
design, like it knows that a new version is coming out in a few months.
What is now happening is this:
I compose a message and click Send. If I got to the outbox, the message
appears to have had the "Send" attribute removed. It now appears as "Not
Sent". I have to manually open the message and click Send again. Then
Send/Receive.
I do NOT have my default email account set to Send Immediately. I only have
the two main email accounts that I use set to Send/Receive in my
Send/Receive Groups.
I did recently install the MS XP Fax on this PC, as the combination of
WinFax and the "security" update brought OL down last time. In the
Send/Receive Groups, MS Fax Transport is enabled to send/receive.
Any assistance is greatly appreciated.
