I have recently changed over from Eudora to Outlook.

I am wondering if there is a shortcut key to send a message that you are
currently composing.

Thank you.

No. The email you wish to send needs to be in your outbox first.
After that, you can press F5 to send and receive messages.

You can turn on shortcut Screen tips to display an available keystroke
when you hover your mouse over a button by selecting "Show shortcut
keys in ScreenTips " under the menu option Tools | Customize |
Options.

Hmmm. I see that keystroke in the tooltip for the send button for an
open message, but couldn't get it to do anything, at least with
OL2000. I do have two accounts set up, and the default account has
the alt+s shortcut, but still nothing happens except causing the send
button to flicker a little. Am I missing something?

Hmmm, again - based on someone else's question in another thread, I
tried a CTRL+Enter keystroke, and that one does do the trick.

As Diane said, Alt-S will send the message you're currently composing,
assuming that "Send immediately when connected" is checked in Tools ->
Options -> Mail Setup.
