Outlook 2003 stand-alone (POP3 server, no Exchange)

Within my contacts I have several that have been assigned to the category
'surveyors', which has been added to my master category list.

When I am on the email pane and type 'surveyors' into the contact quick
search box up in the menu bar it says that there are no contacts. Is there
a way to quickly call up all of my surveyor contacts while still in the
email pane or do I have to switch?

Thank you

The email pane?
Most of us use the "By category" view of our Contacts Folders to view
categories.

It often comes up while I am reading email that I need to call the
surveyors.

There are various companies I work with and I can type the company name in
the search box (while still looking at the email) and get a list of all
contacts for that company then I can select the person I need. I would like
to be able to search for all of the surveyors while still reading the email
(which I always do in the pane).

Can't you use Advanced Find for that?
