I would relaly like to move all of my current contact
info into business contact manager, which has more useful
database fields for my purposes. However, since you can
set-up accounts and individuals within each account, by
exporting from a regualr contact file and importing into
Bus. Contact Manager, I still have to manually create
accounts and assign individual contacts to each account
manually, which is an impossibly huge task given the
number of contacts I have. Is there an automated way to
identify all individuals who belong to say, XYZ Company,
create an account of XYZ company and assocaite all of
theos eindividals with it?

Related: I'm particularly interested in the neglected
contacts report to help me eliminate contacts I haven't
used in years. However, when I import contacts from a
regualr contact folder, the business contact manager sees
them as brand new, thus defeating the neglected contacts
report usability. Any workarounds or solutions?

There's no easy way to do this because of the degree to which BCM depends on the interaction with its backend database. Even if you did create the contacts and link the accounts, you'd still have no history until you started getting mail for those contacts or creating linked items with BCM.
