Okipage 6e DOS

Hi,

I've picked up an Okidata Okipage 6e. It didn't come with any software
so I downloaded the DOS software operator panel. It comes in a
self-extracting file (6eDos.exe). When running install.exe it stops
with a prompt:

Please insert diskette 2, press any key to continue.

When a key is pressed it simply repleats the message (the disk drive
does not "whir"). This is when run from the hard drive. When run from
floppy it still asks for disk 2. I've tried giving the volume label
various names, such as DISK2,etc. Amongst the extracted files is one
DISK_1. I've copied it to DISK_2 and edited its contents. No luck.

Has anyone ever tried this file (
ftp://ftp2.okidata.com/pub/drivers/led/6eDos.exe ) and got it to work?

Found the solution on Okidata's site (go figure). It says to run
installs.exe vice install.exe
