Okay I have

[guru_4 many]

combed Microsoft's support page in search of this exact
error message Simple Query Wizard "Error In Loading DLL"

I've only found 1 reference to this error for Report
Wizard, and it's for ACC97 "which really is relevant"

I'm running Access 2000, which worked up until before I
left for vacation of course. on a W2K workstation, any
ideas, anyone??

Have you tried reinstalling Access?

Yes, I sure did and to no avail, it still comes back with
the exact same error message!
