Newspaper taxis appear on the shore

Look for the girl with the sun in her eyes
And she's gone!!!!..

Well, of course it's up to you. And Longhorn isn't available yet. What is
your actual question?

Why is it NOT up to you?
Did your owner ask you to post this? heh
Not to mention, your post is a little obscure.

You're an "old prodigy guy" -> I suppose you mean the service.

You have "xp home(p=pro), 98se, 95, and an old DOS cobal(cobol)or(apple
running ms products) code named (buy it now)" -> So you have Windows XP Home
edition (what does p=pro mean?), Windows 98 Second Edition, Windows 95
(OSR2?), DOS (which version(s)?) and like to use COBOL(you know that people
will pay you a lot if you can convert COBOL into more modern and living
code) and you have a Macintosh computer of some sort that you run Microsoft
software on? And You seem obsessed with purchasing Microsoft products (or
getting warez copies and trying to convince yourself it is okay - because
you will "purchase it if you like it" with your codenames encouraging you to
do it.)

Is longhorn worth your time? Looking at your post, I wouldn't assume much
ISN'T worth your time. So my answer to YOU is yes. It will give you
something to do with the spare time you seem to have and the likes -
although other than beta test copies (obtained legally or illegally) -> you
have quite a bit of time to consider your actual needs.
