I have XP with auto updates off.

Yet, I have transmissions trying to leave my system...

outgoing..... au.download.windowsupdate.com (81.52.248.177)
and
rs.update.microsoft.com (63.210.62.86).

Anyone know about these two addresses and if so how can I disable
something I do not want at this time.
 
Add them to your hosts file - but it would be better to disable windows from
doing it in the first place right?

Sounds like it is your computer checking for updates.....it is legitimate
activity. If you don't want automatic updates on, then them them off through
the Automatic Updates utility (Control Panel).

update.microsoft.com is the Windows updates site.
