Long story, short version. Either I have lost patience or just don't have
the time any more. I love playing with betas, or at least I used to. This
one has really started to get to my sanity. I just want to go back to XP for
now. may wish to try this again when I regain my sanity.

I installed Vista to my second drive on my system. First drive still
contains WinXP, however what, if any, changes were made to that one by vista?
Since the computer won't let me choose the XP version on "C" drive, I assume
there must be some. I have tried to format drive "D", but windows vista won't
let me. I inserted the XP install disk in the cd-rom player and the "Install
Win XP" is not able to be selected. Is it possible to use "BCDEDIT.exe" to
change to the old "boot.ini" file on "C" drive. If so can someone help with
this? Any real suggestions would be appreciated.

EasyBCD appears to have an option to fix the boot sector for returning to
XP. I haven't tried it so I can't say if it works or not.

Thanks Kerry!

While using Bcdedit.exe, I couldn't for the life of me figure out why I was
being forced into using the command prompt. It's so last century!
*laughing*

EasyBCD is just that, EASY!

You're welcome. Glad to know it works. I'm sure I'll need to use it sooner
or later.
