I've tried to remove the damn empty MSN Gaming Zone folder to no avail. I'd
like some Microsoft tech to answer if possible. I've searched many forums
and most people seem under the impressoin it can't be removed by any means.
As someone put it "This seems an awfully heavy-handed approach for a game
feature." No shit.
I've tried most VBS scripts, reg edits, standard removal procedures
(Add/Remove, Windows Components), and my C:drive is FAT32, so there are no
permissions to mess with. And before you ask, I'd just like to get rid of
it...I don't see the point in an empty folder.
Oh and btw, if this is to do with the Windows File Protection feature, why
is it that I don't get this behaviour if I go into Windows, System and
delete files therein??? Seems like the WFP system is a waste of space. It
holds onto this MSN folder but doesn't care if crucial files are deleted
from Windows folder! Go figure.
