ohci/ieee1394 fails on SP4

Win2k Pro crashes during boot after installation of SP4. It appears to
be crashing in ohci1394.sys during initialization. Since I have several
Firewire devices, I cannot continue with SP4 without a fix. Does anyone
know if one exists or how I might get better info on the crash. I
searched the MS site and didn't find anything.

Does it crash when no firewire device is attached?

Yes. It crashes with or without anything attached. I did a step-by-step
boot, and as soon as it tries to load and intialized ohci1394.sys, it
crashes.

I'm wondering if I can "fake out" the process by installing SP4 and then
replacing ohci1394.sys with the old version. I don't know if I'll get
caught by some alert checksum checking.
