Somebody please...figure this out for me...my computer Fix-
It guy says the problem must be with my Explorer. I have
V.6.0.2800.1106IC

Certain things that I like to do with it just won't
happen...

(1) When I go on line to play my favorite computer game
at: http://play.nhra2.com:8080/NHRAApplet.html I connect
okay to the web site...but when I go to play the game it
will always break my connection.

(2) When I go to: http://nhra.com/ and try to use
their "Live AudioCast" I get no connection even though I
installed everything right ( twice...I might add...) and

(3) When I try to use the chat rooms at both:
http://www.nitromater.com/ and http://www.deepstage.net/ I
get knocked off line every time...

***All of these things used to work real good for
me...until I caught that rotten MSBlaster virus, which I
thought I had dealt with...maybe there's some residual of
it some where in my data...I don't know...

Anybody...???

In IE go to Tools | Internet Options | Advanced
Is there an entry for Microsoft VM right below the one for HTTP 1.1?
If so, is JIT compiler checked? (check it if it isn't.)

It sounds like your Java Virtual Machine is damaged / missing.

A note regarding the MS version - there is a vulnerability which can be used
to install things you don't want, however if something's broken with it it
may be optional to reinstall it, go to windows update and update it (if
there are any) but then just don't use it.

The sun version worked for me but caused another obscure problem which may
have been fixed or may simply have been something with this machine...

The swap utility gives you control over which is in use

The MS Version (Read the first link first)

http://n6hb.org/s-a/JAVA-ts.htm#ie_jvm
The Sun Microsystems version

A utility to switch between them (if you install both)

I checked that, and it was okay.

Ummm... I really don't understand what you're telling me
to do there.

Maybe I should just re-install my Internet Explorer...but
how do I do that...???

Anybody...???
