Oh email.......

I can't figure out for the life of me why I can't seem to
check ANY email that you get to by typing in a web
address and logging in (i.e., hotmail.com, aol.com,
earthlink.net).

After I enter a log-in name and password and then submit,
it seems to just freeze and stop doing anything (during
what I assume is the authentication process).

This happens irregardless of whether I am using dial-up
or cable, or wireless.

I am using a new Dell Laptop, but they will not answer
questions about Microsoft stuff.

Any ideas why this might be happening?

You will find navigating mail much easier if you drop the web interface you
are now using (CDO) and install OE as your newreader.
