Woke up one morning and what did I see ?

I's been trying to get a good shot of deer for the last 20 years.Everytime I see some around my cabin they have disapeared or hidden before I could get the camera to take a shot. I even followed one for half a mile through the trees oncem an every time it stopped I would stop and raise the camera to take a shot but by the time I had looked into the viewfinder the sneaky git had moved on. I got so paranoid that I thought them pesky deer were playing around with me head.
So imagine my suprisewhen I looked out of the kitchen window and saw the above.

Several days later I had the chance to take some more pics. The cheeky deer stayed munching for a good three or four minutes and I managed to get a few very decent shots.

First three pics are a view from me kitchen door.
Pics 4 to 10 are of the first occasion and are taken through the window.
The rest are taken from a distance of about 15 feet through the branches of me oak sapling.

Aww, it looks like your patience payed-off AB, you managed to get some very nice shots of him. You lucky fellow, how great is that - to be visited by deer! Thanks for sharing with us. :D
 
I'll nip down Greenwich Park for you and take a few snaps of some deers if you want :)

That's if them Romanian folk haven't eaten them all yet.

So it's raining as heavily oop north as down sarf then?
 
Yup we had torrential rain yesterday. Raindrops as big as dinner plates.

Pictures of park deer ? Where is the thrill in that.

Did that DropBox picture show work ok then folks, was it quick enough and easy to use ? It is a bit slow on my pc. :(

Roe deer seen a couple of miles from home. Really well camouflaged with that background.

Found it worked good here, about 4 secs lapse between photos :thumb: :)
 
Oh I loved the Avengers, oops showing my age now, can any of you remember when they gave the news on the BBC Home Service if there had been a crime they gave out this number to call if you had any information Whitehall1212 for Scotland Yard?
 
That's nowt, I can remember man coming round at dusk lighting gas lamps in t' street :)
