Yes, thats right, all my Outlook Express attachments are
now being saved in the wrong folder without me noticing -
ooh, silly me. Perhaps there is a patch for this
problem? ah yes, let me see.... it was the last patch
from microsoft that has CAUSED THIS PROBLEM. Thanks alot
MS, I'm sure all our staff will appreciate adjusting
the "default" save location EVERY TIME they receive one of
our vital purchase order or stock update attachments.
It's a shame that none of them noticed and as a result
there have been several embarassing situations - but we
can't really blame them can we - because it's all down to
our friends at MS. I must say to MS (if they're
listening) that I really don't like having to retrain over
twenty staff because of a 'fix' you've released that was
rated 'critical' due to the blaster worm fiasco. I
suppose that will teach me once and for all not to rely on
anything from MS, especially their own fixes for their own
bugs.
A reply from somebody who knows if there is a fix for this
annoying problem would be greatfully received.
Jim.
