Oh, and a wireless mouse question too...

My mouse just died and I'm thinking about getting a wireless to replace
it. I'm trying to decide between a couple that I found on Newegg and
was wondering if anyone had any opinions?

A4Tech Optical RP-1520 Wireless Mini-Mouse USB $29 (I've never heard of
this company)
or
Logitech MX700 Cordless Optical Mouse $63

Is the Logitech worth twice the price? Or is there a third option I
should consider?

Thanks!

Check that the A4 tech can be recharged in it's wireless receiver
station like the logitech one can (also check on how long it'll last
before require a recharge). Check the sample rate and compare, too (is
that the right term- the number of samples per second that, when low,
can result in the mouse pointer jumping around the screen during rapid
mouse movements, such as in games).

A no-name mouse for cheap, or quite possibly the best wireless optical
mouse around for more $. I know where my money would go!

Yeah, I love a high sample rate. My MX500 lets me bump it up to 200Hz
(MS allows only up to 100Hz) right in the control panel. Couple that
with a nice high refresh rate on your monitor and you're good to go! :)

Well the A4 does include a charger and looks better than the Logitech to
me (though this is all the technical data I could find):

Image Processing: 4.8 mega-pixels per second (4.7 for Logitech)
Resolution: 800CPI (same for Logitech)
Tracking speed: 45 inches/sec (40 inches/sec fot hte Logitech)
Auto Frame rate: 1000~2300 frames per second (don't see this in the
Logitech Spec page)
Receiver/Charger Specifications:
Transmission Range: 2m or 6.5 ft
Charges both AA Ni-MH 1400mAh and AAA 600 mAh batteries
2-channels & 255 user ID codes

The Logitech does have an acceleration of 10g and I couldn't find
anything about this on the A4.
