Hi All,

Within Windows Media Player 10 / WindowsXP is there any way that .OGG
files can be treated in the same was as .MP3's with respect to a right click
and music tasks ?

With MP3's if I right click I can add the selection to the "Now Playing
List", similarly if I open a dir full of .MP3's files I can chose "Play All"
from the music tasks pane on the left, how can I set this up for .OGG files
as well ?

TIA

Hi,

Me AGAIN !! :D

Just installed the entry, the "Right Click" options work a treat,
however "Folder Tasks" still don't show up like as they do with MP3's, they
still show as "File & Folder Tasks" rather than "Music Tasks". Any ideas
mate ?

Ta,
Itsmee.

Itsmee,

Yes, this is possible. Download and apply the REG file from here:

http://windowsxp.mvps.org/reg/OGGasMP3.reg

Works fine here. This happens if the folder has been created before you
merged the REG file, or before you moved the .OGG files to the folder.
Anyways, you should be able to customize the folder templates in Properties,
Customize tab. Set to Music.
