I haven't tried it, but my guess is "yes", it will run.

I believe that if you looked carefully at the documentation,
it would say "For XP Home AND XP Pro."

Good luck

There is no "Office 2000 for Windows XP Professional". There is "Office
2000" which runs on many versions of Windows, including all flavours of
Windows XP.

Yes.
But you are a little mistaken.
It is not "Office 2000 for Windows XP Professional", it is simply Microsoft
Office XP.
It may be Professional edition but that does not have anything to do with
the operating system.
Regardless which version, they all function well with Windows XP.

There's no such product. Presumably you mean simply Office 2000
Professional.

runs on XP Home Edition also?

Yes. Don't be confused by words like "Professional" and "Home." These are
simply marketing terms and have no real meaning.

Office XP will work on both home and Pro.
If you are asking if "Office 2000" will work on an XP operating system yes
it will, a friend of mine uses it so I can't say if you might find a
"glitch" here and there or not.

I think you mean Office 2000 Professional.

Yes. Office 2K will run just fine on any version of Windows from Win98
on up.
