I have a Lenovo laptop and it comes with a one touch recovery key,
which brings the machine to the default factory-installed state.
Naturally, there are a lot of upgrades and updates that have been
released after the date Vista was installed in the factory (and
consequently the image that is available through one-touch-recovery).
My question is, is there a way I can download the updates and store
them on another machine, or perhaps a USB disk or something so every
time I end up re-installing Vista through the one touch key, I can
bring my machine to the "current" state using the server or the USB
disk? I don't want to spend the time and bandwidth downloading all
those updates again.
Is there an "official" way to do it?
