I have a network share, G:, and that is where My Documents points to.
I select the make available offline option, but nothing happens, no
errors, no wizard, nothing. I have gone through everything in the
relevant MS KB article about making files available off line and
synchronization, to no avail. Nothing in the event log. Has anybody
experienced this and solved it?

Hi Jim,

The default is syncing at log on or log off. Have you done that and
nothing happens? Is G: on a domain? I haven't tried OF on a non-domain
environment.

Yes, no sync on logoff. It is on a domain. Can R/W to G:.

Other users are fine. I added this user to the admin group, same
thing.

Try reinitializing the cache. In Folder Options, on the Offline
Files tab, press CTRL+SHIFT, and then click Delete Files. Answer Yes.
