Offline Files question....

Hi.
Here is my setup:
One desktop and one laptop. Both computers have a mapped network drive
(J:\) that point to the same folder on the network. The J drive on the
laptop is set to be available offline and syncs when logging on and off the
network. It is set to sync all files and subfolders.

When I add a folder to the J drive from the desktop, I have to go to the
laptop and make that new folder available offline. If I don't it won't
sync. This has presented a problem because I don't always remember to set
all the new folders to be available offline, then they are not there when I
need them (offline)

Is there some way to make it inherit the offline files attribute
automatically WHEN the folder is made from the desktop computer? I know
that if I create the folder on the J drive from the laptop, it will
automatically set it to be available offline....I want it to from the
desktop too.

I'm guessing this isn't possible, but if anyone has any ideas, let me know.

Thanks.

If you had enabled offline files on the J: drive and selected the
option "enable offline files for subfolders too" any new folder/file in
the J:drive would be automatically offline enabled.
