Is there a way to hide or ignore errors in offline files so when the user
logs off and a sync takes place but fails the system does hang showing the
files that errored? I am looking for either a Group Policy, global setting
or reg hack.

Thanx

Hi John,

All gpedit.msc offline edits can be found here:

Local Computer Policy/Computer Configuration/Administrative Templates
In the right pane: Network/Offline Files.

Yeap but there is no "ignore" or "Hide" in there. Surely you can put Sync
into silent mode somehow...

John,

This is not a commonly requested issue nor post and one that doesn't apply
to my lan here, so I can't really troubleshoot this any further. Am betting
you can find a way. Good luck!

JSI has a reg hack for telling the sync not to halt on errors so if it does
error it will just keep on logging off, close enough I guess. Thanx
