offline files go off too soon

cMy mobile GPO utilizes folder redirection with offline files polices. Works
great when off the network but when users travel between offices they can get
anywhere from T3 to T3 WAN speed so the files go online as they soon. However
too slow to work over t1 as opposed to 100-1000 speed. Then I found article
811525 seem to solve my problem however the some of the computers go offline
way too soon, even LAN user on a GB network. I have reduced the
GoOfflineOnSlowLink value from 45000 now down to only 1280 and still
sometimes they go offline. I would think on a GB network 128,000bps would be
untouchable.
Any suggestions welsome as we would really like to solve this one as soon as
possible, thanks!

Dear Steve, I feel you are going to have to turn to hardware to help you!
You need to segregate the different offices over the t3 lines to isolate
(bridge & route eacch seperate location) with a Cisco bridge and router.
THIS ISOLATES THE PROBLEM OF ONE ROUTER PER NETWORK AND REDISTRIBUTES TO
EQUALIZE SYNC TIME DIFFERENCES!

gOOD lUCK,
NICK
