Offline Files and Folders

Hey All -

I am setting up using offline files for my remote laptop users. Got it
working but have a question. I noticed when it synchronizes that the files
show up individually and not in the folders that they are in on the server.
Example - I pulled my home directory. I have 17 subfolders in that directory.
In the offline files folder all the files that were in the subfolders are
there, but not inside their original folders. Looks like offline doesn't keep
the folders. Is this the case and is there a way around it?

Thanks for the help.

I'm sorry to tread on top of your post, however, I've tried for 30 minutes to
post a new question, and can't figure out how to do it.

I don't like explorere to move, delete, copy files. It doesn't open up the
way I like it. I liked file manager. I copied WINFILE.EXE to XP SP2 but it
needed a DLL, which I also copied, but still no go (these files came from
ME.) I even changed the properties to run it as a ME/WIN98 file. Still
doesn't work.

If someone could let me know how to do this, I would appreciate it. E-mail
is (e-mail address removed) (.fix added for spamming purposes, delete it
when addressing the e-mail).

If there is an alternate, similar to file manager, free or not, that would
also work. As long as I have the structured look of file manager instead of
explorer, etc.

Thanks, again my apologies for interfering with your tread.

Sincerely,

The reason you're having such problems is that you are using the
web interface to read this newsgroup--it's the slowest,
clunkiest, most error-prone method there is. Do yourself a favor
and switch to a newsreader, such as Outlook Express, which comes
with Windows.

Ken is right, great pleasure awaits you.
As much pleasure as you get from catching flies, O Mantid.
