Offline files - a nightmare!

I am trying to reset my offline files cache as it has got
itself all confused and reports files that do not exist,
hides files - generally a mess!

Does anyone know how to erase/delete the offline cache
file?

Better still does anyone actually have offline files
working properly? I find that the offline files policy is
so inflexible.

The ability not to be able to deselect certain files (i.e.
make a particular file unavailable offline) is a definite
handicap.

Bring back the Briefcase please!

The current offline files situation will be made a bit better after XP
Service Pack 2 gets released (especially with network detection).

But Briefcase is still there....

Only problem is that you can't use the UNC paths while offline....
That is why I am stuck with Offline Files (since paths are hard coded
into AutoCAD by UNC path)... :(

UNC paths stink - Autocad doesn't have to use them - sounds like they were
just set up that way.

Nope... The problem is that we want them to use the network path when
at the office... It is actually mapped to a drive.... SUBST works,
but it has the tendency to corrupt things...
