I know there are a fair few of these kinds of programs, but
are there any with the flexibility of HTTrack coupled with
the simplicity of Internet Explorer's "Make Available Offline"
feature?

I have a friend who needs just such a tool, but his technical
expertise leaves so much to be desired that anything other
than the most straight-forward of tools is beyond him. Oddly
enough, HTTrack tends to melt his brain (I kid you not), but
I.E.'s "Make Available Offline" doesn't let you save sites to
their own folder, so he needs a solution that's as simple to
use as the I.E. offering which also lets you save the site to
any folder.

All feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks folks.

Why not just make a folder on the desktop callet 'Sites' and put it in
there?
I have just such a folder, in fact a couple of them. I do legal research
and
have legal sites in one folder, freeware sites in another, though I most
often
need only one site in that folder. Really!
