This is the year… the year that Microsoft releases the newest version of
Windows. Yes, Vista will be released in November of this year. So what is
so compelling that our customers would want to spend money upgrading to the
Vista operating system? Let’s take a quick look at all that Vista offers a
small business.

All that blog says is that Vista offers business users eye candy and search
... something already available in XP. What it doesn't mention - and I think
that this is important for business - is that the GUI and user accounts have
been arranged to make Vista a much MORE SECURE SYSTEM yet CAPABLE right
out-of-the-box. It's not just eye-candy and a search bar, rather a
reapproach to how the user will be interacting with the system that will
make computing 'safer' and more efficient for everyone, including the
business user, but also the entire online community.

I did :o)

That blog has been changed anyways... November has been removed. Most
likely still will be in November, but not "officially" yet.

While I have my feelings that Vista will be indeed quite a bit more secure,
I bet it will still have its fair share of security flaws. I guess all we
can do is wait until Vista goes out into the real-world to find that out.

It's already been & being probed & poked - quite a few people have claimed
to be holding on to exploitable flaws that have gone unnoticed across
several builds

Scary. But there are months and months - about half a year - to ETA. The
April CPT, should being made widely available, will be sure to bring many
things to light for the MS developers, in my opinion.

Where does it say "November" in that blog ?

What I see is :

"We are targeting to make Windows Vista generally available in the second half of this year,
and the exact delivery date will ultimately be determined by the quality of the product."

Where did you read "November" ?

I see this site is saying "November", but that's not an official source of Vista info:

[quote - Greg Randall ]
"This is the year. the year that Microsoft releases the newest version of
Windows. Yes, Vista will be released in November of this year," wrote
Microsoft's Greg Randall, according to Mary Jo Foley of Microsoft Watch.
However, within hours, the post had been edited to read "We are targeting to
make Windows Vista generally available in the second half of this year."

That page does not state Vista will be released in November, and it is not
"official".
And to think that you were so quick to label someone a "liar" here very
recently ...
