have an all-in-one 7410. can be connected wired or wireless. if wired then
can not print from limited user account , only from admin account) and
printing graphics is stop and go. my lan is a dlink wireless router and the
7410 is installed as a network printer. connects to router via 100mb switch.
hp support was of some help but still have problems. now i have it connected
wireless and can use it, but would like go connect wired. I reinstalled to
solve slow printing, then came the problem with user accounts.
 
If you have XP Home and Norton Antivirus (or another Symantec product) then
its an issue with the Symantec firewall.

Change your internet protection program or right click on the Printer in the
Control Panel and choose Properties... from the Advanced tab, set the
default to be print direct to printer instead of using the print spooler.
