I have an OEM Office XP small business version which I bought for my
computer. The hard drive is no more and I have had to buy a new one. My
question is can I put my Office XP on this new hard drive or do I have to
buy a new one?
Thanks

If your hard drive is dead and your new one is at least
20 - 40 Gb you'll not have problems. But if you want to
have 2 hard drives You may unistall your office XP from
your actual hard drive and install it on your new one.
You will get some good free space in your first HD.

Greetings --

An OEM license, once installed, is not legally transferable to
another computer under any circumstances. This is the best reason to
avoid OEM versions; if the PC dies or is otherwise disposed of (even
stolen), you cannot re-use your OEM license on a new PC.
