I would like to know if there is a way to execute a group
policy for users that need to log into other workstations
and use their Office XP, files, and folders without
creating a roaming profile.

Is there a way to create a mandatory profile locally for
each user? I don't want to use the server I just want to
use their workstations as the location where the
mandatory profile will reside. Is this possible? If so
what's the easiet route to take?

Thank in advance,

Birra

In their local profile directory rename the Ntuser.dat to Ntuser.man.
Changes to the registry portion of the profile should now not be applied at
log off.

As the Admin on the machine, modify the default user profile.
Change the ntuser.dat to ntuser.man in the default user profile
Create a new folder and share it with everyone full control
Go to manage on My Computer > Local users and add a new user.
In the new user properties provide the profile path
\\machinename\directoryname\profilename
Log in as the new user and get the mandatory profile.
