Office XP & Outlook 2003

Hello everyone
can anyone help with a problem, Outlook 2003 will not track MS office XP
documents in the Outlook 2003 Journal. it is currently switched on "tools,
options, journal options, MS Word ticked, MS Excel ticked" but no entries
appear in the Journal, no tracking occurs.

The current setup is as follows:

Windows XP Pro
Office XP
Outlook 2003

Hi James,
you have to use Word 2003/Excel 2003 to use the Journal function in
Outlook2003
