Office upgrade

I am currently running Office 2000 Professional but it will not sync with my
new Blackberry. I need to upgrade but I don't need all of the functions that
Professional provides and would like to run the standard version. Can I
upgrade Professional 2000 to Standard 2007? The upgrades are less expensive
than the full versions.
 
Yes you can. Keep in mind that this is not the best place to ask this
question. Your question may be better answered in a newsgroup appropriate to
your problem. This newsgroup is dedicated to the Microsoft Access database
product. The Microsoft website may have misdirected you.
 
Well this is an Access database forum. Office Professional contains Access
while the standard versions do not. If you need Access, you can't upgrade to
Standard.

This is an Access database forum so I'm going to assume that you have
Access. Access does not come with the Standard versions of Office. Therefore
you won't be able to upgrade to Standard if you need Access.
