Many OEMs ship new computers with a trial version of Microsoft Office
installed. Once the trial period expires, you have to purchase a
license to continue using the product. This would have been spelled out
in the documentation that accompanied the computer purchase.

Yes, i know it was a trail of office, but I only brought the system week ago
direct from a supplier and not even to use office untill last night. The
Office program tells me i can use it for 60 days yet I havent as it says the
program has already expired?

Hello,

the period should normally begin after the installation. So, your office
might have been installed 60 days ago, so that it has expired now.
