Office PP2007 - Vista Enterprise - open pre 97 files

Running Powerpoint 2007, on vista enterprise 32bit

Tried the registry hack in the KB article supplied for Office 2003 SP3, but
still unable to open pre 97 files, client has powerpoint 4.0 files needs to
open and no longer have Office 2003 available to me to save the file in that
format.

Has anyone come across any other type of registry that will work with Vista
/ OF2007

From the amount of sites and posts I've been reading about this issue,
someone could probably make some money if developed a plug-in or other tool
that would allow users to open or at least import the presentation into a new
presentation.
