Click on the Windows Vista Start button and then click Default Programs
(situated on the right hand side of the menu). When the default programs
window opens click the 'set your default programs' link. In the next window
look down the list of programs until you come to Windows Mail. Click on
Windows Mail then, in the next window, right at the bottom, you should see
the option 'set this program as default'. Click on this to make Windows Mail
the default mail client.
