office network xp

three computers, DSL hub downstairs, each computer has a
direct line to the hub. Can I network all of them
together? Without any other equipment?

I assume that your 3 comps are not recognizing each other.
your dsl router should act as a hub so all of your comps
can access the internet AND share files with each other.
Configuring your computers to share files should be the
answer, the level of difficulty depends on your OS on each
comp. If your running XP use the nework wizard to setup a
home network.
Just start the network wizard and follow the instructions.
Make SURE you run a firewall and virus protection on all
the computers. Depends on the dsl router but it might have
a built in firewall. Hope this helps.
