Are the XP MUI's compatible with Office 2003? I upgraded and cant see any
conflicts, but dont know if I can confirm to my users.

Hi Jesslyn,

Thanks for your posting here.

The following are supported configurations of Microsoft Office 2003 and
Microsoft Windows:

- English (U.S.) version of Microsoft Office 2003 that is installed on an
English (U.S.) version of Microsoft Windows.

- English (U.S.) version of Microsoft Office 2003 that is installed on a
non-English (U.S.) version of Microsoft Windows.

- Non-English (U.S.) version of Microsoft Office 2003 that is installed on
the same non-English (U.S.) version of Microsoft Windows.

- English (U.S.) version of Microsoft Office 2003 plus a Multilingual User
Interface Pack (MUI) that is installed on the English (U.S.) version of
Microsoft Windows (with the same MUI language).

As I cannot get a clear picture of your scenario, it is hard for me to say
compatible or not. You may check the your configuration and compare it with
instructions in the article 870922, and verify if it is supported.

If anything is unclear, or you need further help, just post back to let me
know. Thanks and have a nice day!

Thanks & Regards

We have Office 2002 (XP) and are updating only Outlook to 2003. We
currently have many users with various MUIs and I notice that Outlook does
not seem to have a problem using the current MUIs for XP, but as it is not
possible to test every scenario, I wondered if I have to update the MUI for
Outlook only while retaining the XP MUIs for the other applications in the
suite.

Hey Jesslyn,

Thanks for your verifying.

I suggest you update the MUI for Outlook 2003 for best compatible although
there is no visible conflicts using the current version.

If anything is unclear, just post back to let me know. Have a nice day!

Thanks & Regards
