My setup:
WinXP-Pro-SP1 clients in remote offices, Win2kSP4-DC and -fileserver at
headquarters, Office2003Pro. Headquarters and the remote offices are
connected via a Cisco PIX-VPN.
My problem:
When (from a remote office) opening office documents which lie on the
fileserver, office freezes for approx. 60sex before opening the document.
This also happens when closing the document.
Should have something to do with office, because other documents (pdf etc.)
work just fine with their respective viewers.
The problem does _not_ occur when I open the same document, but from within
Outlook Web Access (Exchange2kSP3-Server also located at headquarters), where
I put it as email-attachment.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Best regards,
Andreas...
