Office 97

I have copied some Access 97 from work to update on my home PC, they install
OK but if I try to export them to Excel or another Access database it says
they are Read Only. However, I can't find that in Properties it shows
Archive.

Can anyone help?

Right mouseclick on the files in Windows Explorer or My Computer, and view
Properties. Doublecheck the Read Only checkbox - I suspect it is in fact
checked; this happens if you copy a file to CD. It gets marked read-only and
copying it back to a hard disk doesn't reset the flag.
