I am having trouble with Office 97 on my terminal server.
It was working fine with SP1 untill I found a client with
an issue opening files. I researched that problem, and
found out that the fix was to install SP2. After patching
my administrative install and then re-installing many
times, only administrators can access Office. All other
users get "application failed to initialize properly"
message. Microsoft KB says that yoiu need to give all
users rights to msjet35.dll, but I have also tried this
without success. This has got to be a rights issue, does
anyone know what rights I should be looking at? I have
already tried to give them full rights to the Microsoft
Office folder but that is no good either. Thanks.

You could download FileMon and RegMon from
http://www.sysinternals.com/. Run them as administrator, start
a TS session as a normal user and try to run the application.

FileMon and RegMon will show you all "access denied" errors
that occur, so that you can give your users the necessary
permissions on a file-to file or Registry subkey basis.
