After reinstalling windows 2000 pro I started having
problems with office 97. Primary issue is with outlook 97

I received the following error when launching outlook
The procedure entry point wnetcachepassword could not be
located in the dynamic link library mpr.dll. So I
attempted a reinstall of outlook and received the
following error. olemsg.dll was unable to register itself
in the system registry. I've tried several methods to
resolve these errors without success. Help

What methods have you tried? Do they include reinstalling Outlook 97?
Uninstalling it fully and reinstalling? Creating a new mail profile?

Note - OL97 was very very buggy, which is why for a long time OL98 was
offered as a free upgrade.....might want to look into getting a newer
version of Office just for added features and bugfixes. Still, you ought to
be able to get this one working...
