I am running WinXP with SP3.
I have been running Microsoft Office 2000 for ages but have now got a copy
of Microsoft Office 2010. Do I need to uninstall the 2000 version before
installing 2010. Will my office files saved under 2000 still remain on my
hard drive if I uninstall, if so, will they still be readable with 2010
version.
Many thanks
Andrew

1. No, you can run multiple versions of Office on one computer. See this
article:

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2121447

2. No, files saved in "My Documents" under Office 2000 will not be deleted
if you uninstall.

3. Yes. You should be able to read them in Office 2010.
