I just downloaded office 2007 pro and I can't open my outlook 2000 program.
outlook 2007 Pro doesn't have outlook.
"operation failed" is the message on the screen

Office Pro DOES contain Outlook. You can't however, have two versions on the
same OS. Uninstall Outlook 2000, (backup data first, just in case) and then
make Outlook 2007 available in Control Panel-Add/Remove Programs-Microsoft
Office 2007.

Does download mean, from the internet or Office cd?
Office 2007 pro includes Outlook.

Change the settings

add/remove programs > office 2007> advanced and enable outlook 2007 ( if OL is part of package )

If not
.. move to the same location but with office 2000 and enable outlook

You cant run ol 2007 and ol2000 at the same time but you can work either of
them

You can run Office 2007 programs along with older versions EXCEPT for Outlook
- only one version of Outlook allowed per system.
