Office 2007 Updates

I have been trying without success to install the updates for Office 2007. I
have started the services, replaced the ose.exe file, all to no avail. As I
am informed that these updates are important, has anyone figured out how to
install them successfully?

I am using Windows Update, with daily checks. Once a day, update tries to
install, and each day, I receive an error message, Code 80070643. Following
the instructions for that error, I have started the Office Source Engine more
times than I care to remember, all to no avail. The followup questions in
the event that those instructions don't work are not applicable to me.

Try manuel downlod.
 
Hi, DCCaz.

Have you asked the Office gurus in the Office newsgroups?

Google gets lots of hits on "80070643", but no instant solution jumps out at
me.
