Hi,
I don't know if this is the right newsgroup for this post. I have posted the
same in microsoft.public.word.drawing.graphics and didn't get any response.
So I had to post here.
Does anyone in this newsgroup use Office 2007?
I'm trying to print out a right-to-left document, which is set up to be
reverse book fold. It has some graphics in it. When I try to print the
document, the grapics aren't appearing in the correct position. It is
appearing in the opposite page. The document is in Microsoft Word 2007 file
format. (.docx)
From the looks of it, I'm pretty sure that it is a bug within the software.
Does anyone know a fix for this problem?
The strangest thing is, the same document prints ok in Microsoft Word 2003
when it is in Microsoft Word 2003 file format. But now the new pcs come with
Office 2007, so we have to adapt to it. When Office 2007 has this cool
appearance, and the nice feel, I really don't want to go back to office
2003.
Actually I ran into 2 problems when I started using Office 2007:
1. When using manual duplex to print out a reverse-book-fold document
(right-to-left, and using complex script) which is in Word 2003 format, the
second half of the document won't print, giving an error. When I swap the
pages, insert them into the printer, and click OK, word 2007 gives an error.
2. When printing a new right-to-left document as reverse book fold, the
graphics appear on the opposite page (incorrect position).
I have searched the internet regarding this as well. It seems that these are
not the only printing problems with Office 2007. All the office 2007
applications have printing problems.
