For future reference... not to get your hopes up for Compare and Merge...
because it's not available in 2007 :-(
To get around it, I saved both as Word outlines and used the Compare
option
on the Review tab. Once you have it the way you want it, save and close
and
then open PowerPoint and from the PowerPoint open option, choose All
Outlines
as the files of type and then save as a presentation.
To send presentation text to Word - Office Button, Publish, Create
Handouts
in Microsoft Office Word, Outline Only
