There are plenty of people on that group who have been helping for
years--it's talent rich. Also there are groups for allthe individual apps
of office and subsets of those loaded with experts.
Smart guy like you. Ribbon is not a big deal. MSFT was trying to move the
paradign that 97% of users use about 3% of the features. They must have a
hundred free tutorials and videos on the ribbon's learning curve on http://office.microsoft.com and www.microsoft.com/learning not to mention
their on demand videos.
Ribbon hard to use... lol. I downloaded the beta, and theres basically the
big windows button as everything that there used to be an a bunch more tabs
that used to be annoying toolbars. Pretty easy and good design if you ask
me.
The ribbon shows more features than most even knew existed.. in my opinion,
it is one of the best changes to Office..
