Office 2007 Calendar-recurring appointment 'BUG"

Users at my work are getting Office 2007, when entering a recurring
appointment in one's calendar, the error message 'operation could not be
completed' is generated; but the appointment is saved anyway...Does anybody
else suffer from this, and is there a known fix for it?

I'm not aware of that symptom for the recurring meeting bug

Have you tried resetting the view or opening outlook with the cleanviews
switch? Test it on one system to see if it fixes it before doing it on every
affected system.
