Office 2004--Word document will not advance past page 1

Can't get past page 1 in Online or Page Layout and although I can work in
"Normal" the page numbers at the bottom of the document never advance--always
page 1. As well, I can't print past Page 1 altho' i use the Normal view, and
have to do them one at a time with Selection only. And can't send an email
with a file attached as I suppose it is looking for the rest of the document.
Word is also very sluggish when editing, take a bit of time to react.

Appreciate it.
 
My thought exactly but either way posting on a Word group is more likely
find the answer than here.

What are you on about??? This is the Frontpage newsgroup, not MS Office or
MS Word.

Nor is it for Office 2004 (whatever THAT is) the current version is Office
2003.

Office 2004 is the MAC version of MS Office
